Rules [UPDATED 1/1/18]

It has been a while since the last time we've notified you guys of the rules, and they have had little bits of updates since then, so here's a small reminder to just look em over and see what may have changed~

Rules will be updated from time to time and are subject to change. Please check to see if the deviation you're submitting fits the rules.
_{Since it is a relatively new and small group, if we for some reason deny your deviation, we will give you an explanation, and you can change it and resubmit it if you want. If we have denied deviations from you twice for breaking the rules, we will reject on the third without explanation. On the fourth, we will ban you from the group, and you will not be able to submit art to the group. If you wish to return to the group after 30 days, you may join again. However, you will only have one more strike before you are removed permanently. If you have questions about it or if we did not give you an explanation the first two times, you're welcome to note the founder or co-founder. Thank you~!

1 deviation per folder per day for every folder except Featured, which is one deviation per month.  You must be a member to submit to featured. (If your deviation was accepted, but you don't see it there, this might be the reason) .:~Don't be afraid to submit art to the featured folder!~:. Just be sure it's the one you want, since you can only submit to featured once a month. Thank you!

We will move the deviation to the right folder if you submit it to the wrong one, but please try to submit to the right folder. We know it can be kind of confusing though, so if you have questions, please feel free to note either Haresoup, or the co-founder, PosyPrince. ^^

Art theft and bullying will not be tolerated

Basically, think of this group as a place for PG art of OCs. Please also try to use your own discernment for what PG does and does not consist of. But to give you an idea, here are a few pointers. These apply to both the deviation and the artist's comments:

What we accept:

Humans, humanoid, anthros, ferals, pretty much any species x) (closed species too, as long as the owner is okay with it)

Hetero, homo, pan, etc.

Couples, crushes, love triangles / networks
(Please do not confuse triangles and networks with threesomes, poly relationships, etc.!)

Literature and romantic genre comics. (if it is not a romantic genre comic, then only specific pages of the comic which involve romance may be submitted)

Original Characters, Fan Characters (if they are mistakable for canon characters of that universe, they will not be accepted) Your friends' OCs if you have their permission to draw and ship them.


What we will not allow:

 NEW: From now on, if you do not include that it is an OC of yours or your friends in the artist description or that it belongs to you or your friend, we will not accept it! Thanks.

sex/ sexual scenes/ themes, incest, pedophilia, fetishes, mature themes including any type of rape

nudity/ partial nudity (including excessive cleavage, extremely tight clothing, visibility of nipples, genitals and the grand canyon even under coverage) Circumstances may be different for beachwear, anthros and other species, so if you're not sure, don't be afraid to ask.

Vulgar/unclean jokes/language/excessive swearing or use of the F bomb, "sugar honey ice tea", either B's, or the D that doesn't end in "amn." Even if it does end in "amn" or is the opposite of heaven, please keep it to a minimum.

Extreme violence/gore

Art of characters of a franchise/ popular universe, aka fanart. This is NOT the same as a fan character. (please see the last green bullet for explanation)

Doll makers/ character simulator (Bases are okay. Just please do not spam the group with pictures with the same base)

A Few Notes~:

-Please be advised that the art you will see in CleanRomance's gallery is art that has passed the voting process to check if it falls within this group's definition of "clean", which means not all members here will have galleries entirely filled with art that follows our rules. So if you're not comfortable viewing art that does not conform to this group's rules please remember to proceed to artists' individual galleries with caution.  

-The "NON-romantic Love" folder is for love between family, friends, and even pets, but you must SPECIFY this. If it is for a cause, you must specify how love is part of  the cause (i.e. "a message of love for all races," etc).

-Single OCs (as in not in a relationship/ are available for pairing) are allowed in pictures too. That's what the "Single Status OCs" folder is for. You can also put pictures of two or more single status characters in this folder.

-The folder titled "One Character" is literally referring to one individual character. If the deviation just has one character, but they're doing something for a significant other or something/ has anything to do with clean romance, that can go there.
